The Elaine “Boots” Fisher Collection at Main Library includes Newbery Medal and Caldecott Medal winners and honor books. The medals are awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children (a division of the American Library Association) for distinguished writing and picture book illustration. This collection is funded by the Fisher family in memory of Elaine “Boots” Fisher.
