Adult
Shaker Library offers many special programs and events for adults, including art exhibitions, guest speakers, poetry readings, activities, and more! For a list of March events on one page, download our April program flyer.
Art Gallery
The Art Gallery on the second floor of the Main Library features exhibits by local artists and juried contests, such as the annual Barbara Luton Art Competition.
Book Discussions
If you like to discuss books you`ve read, join a Book Discussion Group! There are several groups that meet at different times and focus on different genres and themes.
Career Transition Center: A Place for Job Seekers
A place for job seekers in transition and career change located in the Community Entrepreneurial Office (CEO) on the second floor of the Main Library. The Career Transition Center is open from 9:30 AM - 5 PM Monday -Thursday and from 10 AM - 3 PM Fridays.

Children and Families
The Children`s Department offers programs for infants through school-age children, including after-school specials, storytimes, and the summer reading program.
