All Shaker Heights Public Library material except movies and items on reserve may be renewed in person, online or by phone.
To renew items online:Provide your library card number and PIN at the Library Catalog.
To renew material by phone:

Provide your library card number and bar code numbers of all items you wish to renew.
Peak library hours are at dinner time or half an hour before closing. You may wish to avoid calling during those times. Telephone renewals cannot be made if the computer network is unavailable.
