This year’s competition was juried by Ann Caywood Brown, who holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University. She has served as Director of the Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls and the Cleveland Artists Foundation, and served on the May Show staff at the Cleveland Museum of Art for seven years. During these years and since leaving the Cleveland Artists Foundation, Ann has continued her own artistic pursuits as a potter and painter. In 2003, she received a one-month fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center. In addition to her art work, she has curated and juried more than eight exhibitions.

According to Mrs. Brown, "I enjoyed the opportunity to view the works submitted by Cleveland artists. The decisions were difficult, but I hope that everyone who views the exhibit will enjoy these works. Thank you very much for this opportunity."

The exhibit will be on display through May 3, 2010. Artwork is available for sale and a portion of the proceeds benefits the library.
