Fall Book Sale 2026

Mark your calendars! The Friends of the Shaker Library are hosting their Fall Book Sale on the second floor of Main Library the first full week of October.
The sale offers thousands of books in well-organized categories at prices as low as 50¢. All proceeds fund library programming for all ages, including Summer Reading.
The Fall Book Sale hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, October 7, 4 - 8 p.m.
Friends’ Preview Night: Friends members get first dibs on book bargains. Not a Friend? Join at the door. - Thursday, October 8, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Friday, October 9, 12 - 4 p.m.
- Saturday, October 10, 12 - 4 p.m.
- Sunday, October 11, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Bag Sale Sunday: Fill a bag of books for $5. Items in the Specials Room are half price.
