Cleveland Memory
Shaker Library Local History partners with Cleveland Memory to provide ongoing digital access to our photograph collection.
- As photos are digitized they are added to our two Cleveland Memory collections, the Shaker Heights Collection and the Shaker Heights Cleveland Press Collection.
- Currently the collections together include over 600 images.
- Search by subject, date range, or keyword.
- You may order prints of these images through Cleveland State University’s Digital Production Unit or request print-ready TIFFs by emailing Shaker Library Local History.
Ohio Memory
- Shaker Library Local History contributed twenty-two photographs to the Ohio Memory Online Scrapbook.
- These include historical images such as the 1959 flood, the 1970 police station bombing, and scenes from everyday life, business, and schooling in Shaker Heights.
Digital Public Library of America (DPLA)
- In 2022, with the help of a grant, Shaker Library uploaded our Cleveland Press photograph collection to the DPLA.
